It’s time to be a little brash, a little boisterous, it’s time to get bold baby. Although we know who the contenders and pretenders are, one must always expect the unexpected. Did anybody believe Case Keenum would be quarterbacking a 10-2 football team? Nope. The NFL is full of surprises and here are Stevie The Greek’s bold predictions for Week 14.
New Orleans Saints @ Atlanta Falcons
Bold Prediction: Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram Rush for Over 100 Yards
This may be the least bold, most bold prediction in the history of bold predictions. The pairing has already accomplished this feat once this season back in Week 10 against the Buffalo Bills, but I’ve got a sneaking suspicion the duo do it again against their divisional rivals, the Atlanta Falcons.
Indianapolis Colts @ Buffalo Bills
Bold Prediction: LeSean McCoy rushes for 150 Yards and Scores Two Touchdowns
LeSean McCoy has not run for over 150 yards since Week 15 of the 2016 season, but this near year-long streak will come to an end as the Buffalo Bills look to lean on the running attack to keep themselves in the playoff picture. The Bills will have to run the table, and run the ball if they want to make the playoffs.
Minnesota Vikings @ Carolina Panthers
Bold Prediction: Cam Newton Throws for Under 200 Yards and 3 Interceptions
How good is the Vikings defense? Try walking into Atlanta and punching the Falcons offense right in the mouth by holding them to under 10 points good. The Vikings defense should be looking to pillage the Panthers this Sunday. Newton has been the victim of this scenario once this season (Week 3 vs. New Orleans), and it would not be a surprise if SuperCam was just SnoozerCam this Sunday.
Chicago Bears @ Cincinnati Bengals
Bold Prediction: Jordan Howard Scores Three Rushing Touchdowns
Week 13 of 2016, Jordan Howard rushed for three rushing touchdowns and 117 yards against the San Francisco 49ers defense. In the past 8 weeks, Howard has rushed for only one touchdown. This week, Jordan Howard breaks through and catapults the Chicago Bears offense to an impressive road win against a beaten up Cincinnati Bengals team.
Green Bay Packers @ Cleveland Browns
Bold Prediction: Josh Gordon Records 150 Receiving Yards and 2 Touchdowns
For the first time in about 20 years, the entire NFL world was interested to see what would happen in a Cleveland Browns game during Week 13 as Josh Gordon made his return from a three week hiatus. Now that Gordon is back, the Cleveland Browns have a legit Number One Wide Receiver. With Gordon back, the Browns offense has added a big play element to their offense.
San Francisco 49ers @ Houston Texans
Bold Prediction: Marquise Goodwin Records 200 Receiving Yards and 2 Touchdowns
Not 100, but 200 receiving yards for the former college track star. Goodwin is the poster boy for big-play potential and against a porous Texans secondary, he breaks loose for multiple huge plays.
