Everybody wants to gain an edge on the competition when it comes to fantasy football, and you want to know the best way to do that? Do something that your competitors aren’t willing to do: the hunting. You ever try bear hunting in the fall or winter? Good luck. They’re in a deep sleep somewhere far away in the woods and you can’t see them. Luckily for you, I have found three sleeping bears (None from Chicago) and will be revealing them to you in this weeks Top 3 Fantasy Football sleepers.
#1 Dede Westbrook – Jacksonville Jaguars – Wide Receiver
Dede Westbrook is the player on your waiver wire most likely to carry your team to a fantasy championship. Dede The Great is the best player yet to play a regular season game in the NFL this season. Westbrook’s college tape and preseason numbers alone (13 Rec, 288 YDS, 2 TDs) are more than enough to get a little giddy. Couple that with the fact that Allen Hurns is out this week, and you have yourself a WR with a chance to be something special.
#2 J.D McKissic – Seattle Seahawks – Running Back
The Seattle Seahawks backfield has flip-flopped more than the NFL and suspensions they hand out. Much like the Ezekiel Elliott case however, there will be a resolution to the dilemma. The Seattle Seahawks are finally realizing J.D McKissic gives them the most explosive production out of the backfield. McKissic’s ability to catch the ball makes him a bonus in PPR leagues. He is definitely worth a pickup for a team in need of a low-end RB2/Solid flex option.
#3 Corey Davis – Tennessee Titans – Wide Receiver
The 6th overall pick in the 2017 NFL is only owned in 38.8% of ESPN Fantasy league, chances are the 3-7 team in your league actually has a better percent chance of making the playoffs than someone in your league owning Corey Davis. Davis was targeted 10 times last week against the Bengals and figures to be a large part of their offense moving forward. I don’t say this often, but STOP READING and go pick up Corey Davis if he is available.
