Week 10 in the NFL is upon us, and your fantasy football lineup needs a little tender love and care. Fear not, for each position I give my start em’ and sit em’ for this week.
QB Start Em’: Jared Goff vs. HOU
All it took was Sean McVay to show up in Hollywood to make Jared Goff a solid NFL quarterback. Since his arrival, Goff has shown promise of being the highly touted prospect he was expected to be. Goff is a great start against a Houston defense which has the fourth worst fantasy defense against the pass in the last four weeks. Goff can be trusted down the strecth as a strong matchup play.
QB Sit Em’: Dak Prescott @ ATL
Dak Prescott will be without Ezekiel Elliott in the backfield, and with Dez Bryant questionable with a bruised knee, Prescott will be up against it on the road. The absence of Elliott allows opposing teams to gameplan and focus on the passing game, which could make things difficult for Prescott today and moving forward during the Elliott six-game ban.
RB Start Em’: Le’Veon Bell @ IND
The dogs from the dessert have this one slated with the Steelers as heavy favourites. That means you can fire up Le’Veon Bell to get a mighty big workload coming off of a bye week. Indy’s top run-stopper John Simon is also out for today’s game which can open things up even more for Bell.
RB Sit Em’: Doug Martin vs. NYJ
Doug Martin will be in tough this week as his team will be without their number one wide receiver and their quarterback. Couple that with the fact that the Jets possess the sixth best fantasy run defense over the past four weeks and Doug martin does not shape up well. Martin has been hard to trust as it is, and today’s matchup just adds to the difficulty.
WR Start Em’: Marvin Jones vs. CLE
Marvin Jones balled out last week against the Green Bay Packers, and I would expect more of the same today against the Cleveland Browns. In the past three games, Marvin Jones has combined for 331 Receiving yards and three touchdowns. There is no reason to have second thoughts about putting Marvin Jones in your lineup today.
WR Sit Em’: Michael Thomas @ BUF
Michael Thomas has seen a lot of volume recently reeling 22 balls in the past three games. A matchup in cold weather against a strong Buffalo Bills pass defense could see Thomas’ volume and production drop today.
TE Start Em’: Cameron Brate vs. NYJ
After the drafting of O.J Howard, many thought Cameron Brate would be phased out of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense. However, Brate has been a solid TE ranking sixth this year at the position. Feel confident about Brate in today’s matchup
TE Sit Em’: Jason Witten @ ATL
In the past four weeks, Atlanta offers the fifth toughest defensive matchup for Tight End’s, which means Jason Witten could struggle to find separation today against the Falcons defense. As I mentioned earlier, no Elliott means the Cowboys offense could look out of sorts today against Atlanta.
