SneakerHype: All Athletes Seen in Off-White™ x Nike

Off-White connected with Nike for some of the hottest sneakers of the year earlier this month. Virgil Abloh (founder of Off-White) had a vision that he wanted to bring to one of the world’s most powerful entities, Nike. Who better to show off the collection than the Nike athletes themselves?

When sitting down with the panel at the release, the pop culture icon said: “There’s windows within Nike—to insert young ideas”. Shortly after being probed during the interview, Virgil went on to say “I’m trying to perfect a mature way of being disruptive, to be young and work within an industry means there are rules to follow and rules to break”.

The highly decorated shoe collab (which was followed by apparel) reached a new level of hype that was able to compete with the resell king of 2017, the Louis Vuitton x Supreme collab.

All in all, Virgil’s Off-White x Nike collection was a very clean, classy release that has had sneakerheads everywhere craving the cop.

The gallery below highlights the collection of the ten kicks that were split into two packs of 5. The “REVEALING” pack and the “GHOSTING” pack are set to release together in all NikeLab stores and selected retailers this upcoming November.
